"Detective Dee: The Wrath of the King Kong" movie project launched, King Kong statue punishes evil

The National Film Administration issued a notice on the filing and project approval of national film scripts (synopses) in December 2019 (mid- to late December). Among the 175 films on the filing list, there is a film called "Detective Dee: The Wrath of the Golden Flower". The screenwriter of the film is Wang Jian, and the filing company is Beijing Light and Shadow Miracle Film and Television Culture Co., Ltd. It is not clear whether it is the "Detective Dee" series directed by Tsui Hark.

"Detective Dee: The Wrath of the Golden Buddha" tells the story of a rumor in Luoyang City that the golden statue in the temple has come alive and is dedicated to punishing evil at night. Two people have been killed in the city, one is the son of the Zhang family, a wealthy herbal medicine family, and the other is the son of the Ma family, a carriage and horse business. Although both of them are extremely evil people, only the Dali Temple and the court can enforce the law, so Detective Dee is ordered to investigate the case.

"The Angry Golden Buddha" also made a grand appearance in "Detective Dee: The Four Heavenly Kings". The Angry Golden Buddha in the film has two incarnations, one is golden all over and the other is blood red all over, leaving a deep impression on the audience.
