Masami Nagasawa plays the dark, self-depraved mother "Akiko" in the film, and her son "Shuhei" is played by new actor Okudaira Daikan. Akiko has a chaotic private life. Although she loves her children, she has an unusual relationship with her son "Shuhei". Zhouhei, who grew up in this distorted love, eventually caused a tragedy. Abe Takashi plays Akiko's husband who is not officially registered with her.
