Los Angeles Comic-Con ANIME EXPO cancellation may affect some game promotions

ANIME EXPO, the largest anime exhibition in North America, announced today (April 18) the cancellation of the ANIME EXPO 2020 exhibition originally scheduled for July 2 to July 5.

The organizer, the Japan Animation Promotion Association, said that the cancellation of the exhibition was due to concerns about the new crown epidemic. ANIME EXPO will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center in the United States in 2021, and will be held from July 2 to July 5, 2021.

Although ANIME EXPO is mainly focused on the anime field, companies like Aksys Games, Bandai Namco, Spike Chunsoft, etc. will also participate in the exhibition to promote new games and game localization. It is reported that Aksys Games is planning to announce an original project developed by Mikage for PS5, PS4, Switch and PC platforms.
