The movie "Theater" starring Kento Yamazaki has been postponed from its original release date of April 17

The official announcement of the movie "Theater", adapted from the love novel of the same name and starring Kento Yamazaki, recently announced that it will be postponed. It was originally scheduled to be released on April 17, and the re-screening date has not yet been determined.

"Theater" is a film based on the love novel of the same name by Akutagawa Prize-winning writer Naoki Matayoshi. It is directed by Yukisada Isao, starring Kento Yamazaki and Mayu Matsuoka. It was originally scheduled to be released in Japan on April 17, 2020.

The film tells the story of a junior high school writer Nagata (Kento Yamazaki) who was abandoned by his troupe members due to his poor performance. Just when he was feeling discouraged, he met Saki (Mayu Matsuoka) who came to Tokyo with her dream of becoming an actor, and began a sweet love affair with her. With her encouragement, he regained his dream.
