"New Justice, My Foot" was criticized for ruining the classic: the box office was only 3,000 in 4 days

The movie "New Justice, My Foot", adapted from Mr. Wang Jing's film "Justice, My Foot", was officially released on March 16. The first batch of Douban reviews are now out, and a large number of viewers gave it 1-star bad reviews.

According to Lighthouse Professional Edition, as of noon on the 19th, the box office in theaters across the country was only 3,647 yuan in four days, and a total of 109 people watched the movie in theaters.

The audience in the comment area almost completely denied the film: too many bad plots, few jokes, ruining the classic, and poor scenery. One audience member said: Why bother to touch upon Stephen Chow's classic work?

This film is adapted from Mr. Wang Jing's film "Justice, My Foot". Some of the original cast members have come forward to pay tribute to the classic, with Peng Yuxi playing Bao Longxing, Lin Yanrou, Huang Yishan, Yuan Qiongdan, Liu Zihao and Wei Lu leading the cast, injecting new vitality into the IP.
