An interesting story recently attracted attention. Chinese researchers discovered a new species of deep-sea fish today, and named it Sanae, the name of the heroine in "Princess Mononoke". According to information published in the academic journal ZooKeys, the new species' full name is Branchiostegus sanae. It was first discovered by Chinese scientist Huang Haochen. It was named after the heroine of "Princess Mononoke" in addition to paying tribute to Sanae's strong character in the work, and the unique facial patterns are quite similar. |
