The BBC announced that it has reached a cooperation agreement with the Chinese video website Youku on British drama content. A series of highly acclaimed British dramas, including Sherlock Holmes Seasons 1-4, the latest season of Doctor Who, and the fifth season of No. 9, will have a total length of more than 80 hours. At the same time, high-definition restored versions of classic British dramas Yes, Minister and Yes, Prime Minister will be broadcast online on Youku. This agreement will further strengthen Youku's British drama position in the Chinese market. The BBC said that Youku is the platform with the largest reserve of British dramas on the entire network, currently providing viewers with more than 350 hours of high-quality BBC dramas, including representative works such as the "Doctor Who" series, the "Inside No.9" series, the "The Durrells" series, and the film and television adaptation of the classic novel "Les Misrables". The series under this agreement are expected to be released gradually from February this year.
