"The Woodpecker Detective" won the 3rd Sogen Mystery Short Story Award. It tells the adventurous story of a genius poet Ishikawa Takuboku who started his detective career because of a murder case in the Meiji era and his assistant, fellow countryman Kindaichi Kyosuke, who worked together to solve strange cases.

The main actors of "Woodpecker Detective Agency" Ishikawa Takuboku will be played by Shintaro Asanuma, and Kyosuke Kindaichi will be played by Takahiro Sakurai.
