In recent years, the Star Wars IP seems to have found itself. Once dominating the big screen, the series is now turning to the small screen of the audience, launching a number of successful live-action series on Disney+. According to Kristian Harloff, a well-known "Star Wars" insider, Cal Kestis (Cameron Monaghan), the protagonist of the game "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" released in 2019, will have his own Disney+ series. This is another character who has his own independent live-action series after Mandalorian, Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan. However, Harloff said that he heard the news from someone he trusted in the past, but everything is not 100% confirmed. Harloff also added that no production date has been set yet, but sources told him it is indeed happening. Ever since Cameron Monaghan signed on to star in "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order", many people thought it was only a matter of time before he would star in a "Star Wars" film or TV series. It’s worth noting that Monaghan had already made a name for himself in the acting world before his role in Star Wars Jedi. His performances in Gotham and Shameless earned him recognition, enough to warrant starring in a standalone Star Wars series. |
