·The famous Japanese cartoonist and author of "Chibi Maruko-chan", "Chibi Maruko-chan" Miki Miura, passed away at 20:29 on August 15, 2018, due to breast cancer at the age of 53. Miki Miura was born in Shimizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. In 1986, Sakura-chan began to serialize the comic "Chibi Maruko-chan" in the girls' comic magazine "Ribon" based on her childhood life.
