Henry Cavill to star in Voltron live-action film

Recently, according to foreign media THR, Henry Cavill will join the live-action movie "Voltron" as the leading actor. It is not clear which role Cavill will play, but he will work with another leading actor Daniel Quinn-Toye.

Niall Quinn-Toy has acted in some theatre and English TV series, and was Tom Holland's understudy and played Paris in London's West End in Romeo and Juliet in the spring of 2024.

The live-action Voltron film is scheduled to start filming in Australia this fall, directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, produced by Amazon/MGM, and produced by Todd Lieberman & David Hoberman and Bob Koplar of Voltron Copyright Company.

Voltron is derived from the Japanese animations "Voltron" and "Mech Fleet Dalaka XV", and has developed into an independent series "Voltron: Guardian of the Universe". The protagonists of the story are five young pilots, driving five robot lions, black, red, yellow, green and blue. The five lions can combine to become a giant robot "Voltron". Under the leadership of Princess Farah, the heroes launched a counterattack against the evil Kingdom of Galra.
