Will Smith's new films have been shelved after the beating incident

The negative impact of "King of Smith" Will Smith's beating on stage at the Oscars is expanding. According to foreign media "The Hollywood Reporter", the preparations for "Bad Boys 4" co-starring Smith and Martin Lawrence have been suspended, and Netflix has also shelved their new film "The Fate of the Furious" co-starring Smith.

"Bad Boys 4" was originally in active development at Sony. Smith received a 40-page script written by Chris Bremner before the Oscars. People familiar with the matter revealed that it will now be suspended.

The new film "The Fast and the Furious" that Spallionaire was going to collaborate with Netflix on has reportedly been shelved. The original director David Leitch withdrew earlier this year. The streaming media company originally wanted to find a replacement director quickly, but after seeing the Oscar beating incident, it shelved the project.

The Fast and the Furious is an amnesia movie in which the protagonist is attacked and dumped in Tijuana, Mexico, with no memory. He discovers that he has been living two different lives - one as a successful, wealthy crime boss, and the other as a broke and lonely CIA agent. The problem is, he doesn't know which lifestyle represents his true identity, and worse, he's not sure which lifestyle he wants.

Currently, Stan is working on "Emancipation" with Antoine Fuqua, which is in post-production and will be released on Apple's streaming media this year. The film company has not yet announced a release date. In addition, he and Kevin Hart have also announced that they will star in the remake of "Planes, Trains and Automobiles".

When Stan resigned from his Oscars membership, he said: "Change takes time, and I will do something to ensure that I will never let violence replace reason again."
