The male protagonist of the first two "Wonder Woman" movies will not return in the third movie

"Wonder Woman" is one of DC's most anticipated film adaptations. After filming "Wonder Woman" and "Wonder Woman 1984" in succession, news came recently that Steve Trevor will not return in "Wonder Woman 3".

Steve Trevor is Wonder Woman's love interest in the first two films. The two met and fell in love during World War I in the first film. The plot of the second film is also closely related to Steve. Actor Chris Pine recently revealed that he will not appear in "Wonder Woman 3".

Chris Pine said: "Poor Steve should be dead. I wish them good luck with the third film."

There is news that the third movie will take place in the modern DCEU time and space. Diana may encounter other members of the Justice League and make friends again, so Steve should have nothing to do with it.
