The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes trailer will be released in North America on November 17

Today (April 28), the trailer for the prequel film of the Hunger Games series, "The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes," was released. The latest version of the script was written by Michael Lesslie (Macbeth, Assassin's Creed, The Little Drummer Girl), and co-created by Michael Arndt (Inside Out, Toy Story 3, Little Miss Sunshine). It will be released in North America on November 17.

Francis Lawrence, director of the "Hunger Games" film series, returns to direct. Rachel Zegler plays Lucy, Tom Blythe plays the young version of Snow, Viola Davis plays Dr. Volumnia Gaul, the chief game producer of the Tenth Hunger Games, Josh Andres Rivera plays Sejanus Plinth, Snow's close friend and mentor of the Second District tribute, Hunter Shaffer plays Snow's cousin and confidant Tigris Snow, who guides him and advises him on various aspects such as morality, Jason Schwartzman plays Lucretius "Lucky" Flickerman, the host of the Tenth Hunger Games and the ancestor of Caesar (Stanley Tucci) in the original story, and Peter Dinklage plays Casca Highbottom, the dean of the academy, who makes the rules of the game and determines the fate of the students.
