Sega's classic fighting game "Crown of Eternity" will be adapted into a movie, and the screenwriter of the "Jurassic World" trilogy will join

"Eternal Champions" (the subtitle of "Eternal Champions" is "Bushido", so it is also called "King of Bushido" or "Eternal Champions"), a fighting game developed by Sega for the Sega Genesis (MD) home console, was released in 1993. This game supports up to two players, with a total of 8 gameplay modes and 10 characters for players to choose from.

Although "Eternal Crown" has launched sequels and derivative works after the first generation, the series was eventually submerged in the long river of video game history. However, good news has been reported recently that "Eternal Crown" will soon be on the big screen.

It is reported that the film adaptation of "Eternal Crown" will be produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger for Skydance, with Rob Ree as executive producer of the project and the script written by Derek Connolly, the screenwriter of films such as the "Jurassic World" trilogy and "Detective Pikachu".

The specific release date of the film adaptation of "Eternal Crown" has not yet been announced. The original game tells the story of a being called the "Eternal Champion" who summoned the souls of key figures in history in order to change the tragic fate of the earth. These people were thrown into the championship battle, and the winner will be reborn and become the hero needed to restore the balance of the earth, while others return to the moment before their death.
