The famous animation studio "Ghibli" theme park, which has brought countless joy and touching moments to anime fans around the world, had the latest news on February 4. The official planning statement from Aichi Prefecture stated that it will do its utmost to ensure that the Ghibli theme park will open as scheduled in the fall of 2022, and many classic scenes in its works will be perfectly restored, such as the famous Chihiro Pig Food Street.

"Ghibli" was founded in mid-1985 and was named after its famous animation director Hayao Miyazaki. It means seasonal hot winds in the Sahara Desert. It has produced countless classic animated films and is deeply loved by fans around the world.

The Ghibli theme park will be located in Kutate City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It is expected to cost more than 34 billion yen and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2022. The currently known theme projects include scenes from famous works such as "My Neighbor Totoro", "Castle in the Sky", "Spirited Away", "The Cat Returns" and "Howl's Moving Castle". It is estimated that it will provide a reception capacity of more than 1.8 million tourists per year.
