'Lord of the Rings' TV series writer is willing to adapt 'Dishonored' for TV

Gennifer Hutchison, the screenwriter of Amazon's upcoming TV series "The Lord of the Rings", recently tweeted: "You cowards, let me write a script for the TV series "Shame". At present, we can't tell whether this is a joke or she is really going to do it, but in any case, this tweet has attracted the attention of netizens, and maybe it will become real.

"Dishonored" is a first-person stealth game launched by Arkane Studios. There are currently two parts, both of which have their own large-scale story DLCs, in which Corvo Attano plays the protagonist.

"Dishonored" provides players with different solutions. You can fight head-on, stab the opponent in the back, or complete the game without killing anyone. The game will produce different plot branches and different endings based on the player's gameplay and key choices. Those who have played the game say it is good, and those who haven't played it can go and give it a try, it is definitely worth it.

Another feature of Dishonored is that it has created a relatively complete and unique fantasy world view. The overall structure is based on the British Industrial Revolution era and is obviously influenced by the steampunk style. Although both games tell complete stories, there are many blank spaces in between, such as the behind-the-scenes story of the murder of the previous queen Jessamine and the growth process of the current queen Emily, which can all be used as plot lines for TV series development.

Of course, plans for a TV adaptation of "Shame" have not yet been officially announced.
