Epidemic thriller Songbirds trailer: Michael Bay focuses on the new virus

Today (October 30), Michael Bay’s epidemic-themed sci-fi thriller "Songbird" released a new trailer. Let’s watch the video together!

New trailer:

In the trailer, a virus that attacks humans has caused a large number of casualties and panic around the world, and the only way for humans to survive is to stay at home and try not to go out. The entire trailer is full of the texture of a Hollywood blockbuster, especially the depiction of the rampant virus and the helplessness of humans.

The thriller Songbird tells the story of the year 2024, when the coronavirus 23 (COVID-23) mutated and attacked the human brain, which also led to a mortality rate of more than 50% and continued to rise. This is the fourth year of the world's lockdown. Americans infected with the virus are forced to leave their homes and go to the quarantine camp "Q Zone", where there is no escape from the iron wall. Only a few people rose up to resist. They organized a resistance army and had a lot of conflicts with the army that blocked the United States.

In this dystopian environment, courier Nico finds love and hope when he falls in love with a girl named Sarah. But Nico is immune to the deadly pathogen, and Sarah is in quarantine, so the two cannot come into contact. After Sarah is diagnosed with the virus, Nico races against time through the deserted streets of Los Angeles, trying to save her from imprisonment or worse.

Songbird is produced by Michael Bay and directed and co-written by Adam Mason, whose representative works include Into the Dark and Dirt. Many powerful actors have joined the film, including K.J. Apa (Riverdale), Sofia Carson (Descendants), Craig Robinson (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Bradley Whitford (The West Wing), Peter Stormare (Prison Break), Alexandra Daddario, Paul Walter Hauser (Richard Jewell), Demi Moore and others.

Songbird was filmed in Los Angeles in May this year, which was one of the first films shot in Los Angeles after the outbreak of the epidemic. The film has not yet been scheduled.
