The new manga "Gantz: E" written by Hiroya Oku begins serialization and moves to the Edo period

At the 40th anniversary conference of the founding of "Weekly Young Jump" held in October last year, exciting news was announced for fans. After a lapse of 6 years, a new plan based on the original work of Hiroya Oku, who is famous for "Gantz", was announced at that time. On January 8, this new manga was confirmed to be named "Gantz: E" and serialization officially began, and the story will be set in the Edo period.

"GANTZ" is a fantasy adult manga that was serialized by Japanese manga artist Oh Hiroya in 2000 and ended in June 2013. It tells the story of a high school student Kei Kurono who died in an accident and was sent to a mysterious room. There is a black ball "GANTZ" in the room. All the people who were sent to the room, under the control and arrangement of the black ball GANTZ, fight against the aliens who invaded the earth...

The subtitle "E" of the new comic "Gantz:E" is exactly the first letter of Japan's Edo period. It seems that this time the mysterious black ball has descended on old Japan, and a new killing feast will begin. Stay tuned.
