In the article, he angrily denounced the malicious rumors against him in recent days, saying: "I do not have any so-called yin-yang contracts, let alone tax evasion."

As early as mid-May this year, the filming of "Cell Phone 2" was announced, which led Cui Yongyuan to publicly criticize Feng Xiaogang and "Cell Phone" series screenwriter Liu Zhenyun. He then exposed the chaos in the "yin-yang contract" industry, and the situation escalated.

In early June, the State Administration of Taxation intervened and began a large-scale investigation into the tax issues of "yin-yang contracts" for film and television practitioners. During this period, many revelations about Feng Xiaogang's involvement were circulated online. In response, Feng Xiaogang issued a statement yesterday to clarify, angrily denouncing "maliciously slanderous public accounts and platforms" as "desperate", "disrespecting the law", and "spreading rumors to confuse the public".

Feng Xiaogang responded by saying, "I don't have any so-called yin-yang contracts, let alone tax evasion. This is well documented," and further explained the tax details, "Our Mela Media pays tens of millions in taxes every year, and I have paid hundreds of millions in personal income tax. In addition, the total box office of my films has exceeded 5 billion, and the production companies and theaters have paid more than 10 billion in taxes. According to the national minimum poverty line subsidy standard of 800 yuan per month, how much difficulty have I and related companies shared for the country and how many poor people have been helped?"

Feng Xiaogang then directly pointed out that the rumor-mongering accounts and platforms were "cyber thugs" and angrily denounced: "I warn those rumors-mongering accounts not to incite and hijack the public's anger and use the film and television industry as a punching bag. This is despicable."

Shortly after the article was published, Feng Xiaogang also forwarded an "apology statement" from a Weibo celebrity, and lamented, "I won't speculate on the winter of rumor mongers. In this day and age, anyone who can admit that they are wrong is a good person."
