Bones' "Vanitus' Notes" Chapter 2 New Trailer New Adventure Begins

The second phase of the TV animation "Vanitas' Notes", adapted from the manga of the same name, will be broadcast in January 2022. On December 11, the official announced the first trailer and new art. Let's take a sneak peek.

•The background of "Vanitus' Notes" is 19th century Paris, vampires and steampunk, telling the story of the mechanically driven magic book that spreads the curse on vampires. Now, guided by the "Book of Vanitas", the actors gather in Paris.

Under the blue leather cover is a black paper, a mechanically driven magic book bound with a silver lock, that is the Book of Vanitas! The ordinary human Vanitas, who inherited the Book of Vanitas and his name from the vampire Vanitas, met and walked with the vampire No, who was born under the protection of the blue moonlight of the "vampire's ominous moon", and finally killed each other. The vampire story brought by Jun Mochizuki of "Pandora Hearts" begins.

The TV animation of "Vanitas' Notes" will be produced by Bones, with music by Yuki Kajiura. New characters added in the second phase include Chloë, the hidden vampire of the Marquis Dapcher's house, who will be played by Rie Kugimiya, and Jean-Jack, the vampire youth who works with Chloë, who will be played by Daiki Hamano.
