Colin Farrell to play villain 'Penguin' in new 'Batman'

Today (January 7), the director of the new "Batman" officially announced on Twitter: Colin Farrell will play the classic villain "Penguin" in the new "Batman". The new "Batman" will be released in North America on June 25, 2021.

The cast of the new version of "Batman" currently includes: Robert Pattinson as Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Sheriff Gordon, Andy Serkis as butler Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, John Turturro as Gotham gang leader Carmine Falcone, and Peter Sarsgaard (role unknown).

The new "Batman" will be released in North America on June 25, 2021.
