Knives Out 2 is in development, Daniel Craig may return

"Star Wars 8" director Rian Johnson confirmed to foreign media that "Knives Out 2" is already in development and starring Daniel Craig is expected to return.

Knives Out 2 will focus on Craig's character, Benoit Blanc, as he investigates a new case in the South. He added that he is eager to finish the film quickly and hopes to have it released next year.

Johnson's co-star Ram Bergman added that Craig would also love to play Benoit Blanc again, saying, "Daniel is enjoying playing the role, he's not done with it yet."

It is reported that the global cumulative box office of "Knives Out" has reached 247 million US dollars, which has exceeded the production cost by 6 times. The film was released in China on November 29, 2019, and as of now, the domestic box office is 197 million yuan.
