Today (January 4), the hit drama "Killing Eve" starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer announced that it has been renewed for the fourth season. The show has currently aired two seasons and the third season will premiere this spring.

Killing Eve is a British spy thriller television series based on the novel series Villanelle by Luke Jennings. The series was developed and produced by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and stars Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, and premiered on BBC America.

The plot tells the story of Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), a female officer of the British MI5, who is dedicated to tracking down a mentally ill female killer Villanelle (Jodie Comer). As the investigation deepens, a special relationship gradually develops between the two, and the story involves multiple forces such as MI6 and the assassination organization "The Twelve".

Killing Eve has received widespread acclaim in both the United States and the United Kingdom. In 2019, the show won the Peabody Award and was named the Best Drama of the Year by the British Academy Television Awards. Sandra Oh won the Best Actress at the 76th Golden Globe Awards, the 25th Screen Actors Guild Awards, and the 9th Critics' Choice Awards for her performance in the first season, and was nominated for Best Actress at the 70th and 71st Primetime Emmy Awards. Jodie Comer won the Best Actress at the 2019 British Academy Television Awards and won the Best Actress in a Drama Series at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards in 2019 for her outstanding performance in the second season.
