Sonic the Hedgehog releases Japanese trailer, to be released in February 2020

The movie "Sonic the Hedgehog" will be released in February next year. Recently, the film company released a Japanese version of the trailer, which is mixed with new shots and old pictures, and also shows Sonic's appearance when he was still a baby.

The movie "Sonic the Hedgehog" uses a combination of live-action and CG. It tells the story of Sonic who accidentally enters the earth and has the ability to run at the speed of sound, and his new human friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden). The two teamed up to try to stop the evil Dr. Eggman's (Jim Carrey) plan to rule the world.

Sonic the Hedgehog had previously been reworked because the original Sonic image was too eye-catching, and the revised image was generally recognized by netizens. However, the studio responsible for the rework, Moving Picture Company (MPC), announced on the 14th of this month that it would soon close down. The Vancouver studio sent a letter to employees on Wednesday saying that they were forced to close down due to "increasing external market pressures."

Sonic the Hedgehog was originally scheduled to be released in November this year, but due to the controversy surrounding the image of Sonic in the first trailer, it was forced to be reworked and postponed. The rework has been completed and is expected to be released on February 14, 2020.
