Today (December 24), IGN gave its final evaluation of Netflix's latest fantasy blockbuster "The Witcher" Season 1: 6.5 points. “The Witcher is an entertaining adaptation of the beloved series, but it’s held back by a poorly structured and confusing series and dialogue.” In the overall review, IGN also evaluated the three main characters separately, praising Henry Cavill as the perfect match for the role of "White Wolf Geralt", whose performance made up for the shortcomings of this character's story; Anya Sharoncha's Yennefer's initial performance was worthy of recognition, but the character's emotions throughout the play were overly focused on anger and sadness, which made her story seem less comfortable; and Ciri, played by Freya Allan, seemed to have been on a journey to find Geralt, without reflecting her personal appeal and exploring her own story. Netflix also recently released a special promotional video for "The Witcher" today, with all three leading actors appearing: Attached is the latest website rating of "The Witcher" series: Rotten Tomatoes rating: 54%, Popcorn rating: 92% The average media score of M station is 53, and the average audience score is 7.9 Douban score 7.7 |
