The Witcher TV series being produced by Netflix will be aired in two weeks. Today, the show's Twitter account released a short video showing a battle scene. This scene is from a banquet given by Queen Calanthe, leader of the northern kingdom of Cintra and Ciri's grandmother. In the video, we saw two demon hunters, Geralt and Duny, causing chaos in the banquet hall, and a group of palace guards who were overconfident came to die. The name Duny may be a little unfamiliar, but gamers may be more familiar with his other name: Emhyr var Emreis, the emperor of the southern kingdom of Nilfgaard. According to a Twitter user, the gory effects were cut from the TV series so that the show could meet the PG rating target. The Witcher TV series will officially premiere on December 20. |
