Legendary Pictures' television department has reached an agreement with Frank Miller to adapt his American comic book "Sin City" series into a television series; at the same time, Robert Rodriguez, who directed the 2005 film version of "Sin City", returned and will work with Miller to create a "Sin City" series. Miller and Rodriguez will serve as executive producers on the series, along with Stephen L'Heureux, who produced the 2014 sequel "Sin City 2," and Silenn Thomas, head of Miller's production company. For Legendary, the deal is to ensure the quality of the first season of the show, depending on whether it is released through the Internet or streaming platforms. In addition, Legendary has reached an agreement with Miller to produce a prequel to "Sin City" in the form of a large-scale R-rated animation. Fans of the original comics and the movie version can start rubbing their hands in anticipation! |
