Jodie Foster: I hope audiences get tired of superhero movies sooner rather than later

Recently, Oscar-winning actress Jodie Foster told foreign media: "Superhero movies have lasted too long for me. I hope people will get tired of it soon."

Jodie Foster said: "It's not that there aren't good superhero movies, like Iron Man, Black Panther and The Matrix (sic). I am amazed by these movies and attracted by their entertainment. But these movies are not the reason why I became an actor. Those movies did not change my life. Hopefully there will be room in theaters to show other things."

Jodie Foster, 61 years old this year, started out as a child star. She was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Taxi Driver" at the age of 14. She won the Oscar for Best Actress in 1989 and 1992 for "The Silence of the Lambs" respectively.
