HBO announces free streaming of many of its classic series

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced most Americans to stay at home. HBO announced that its nine series, 20 movies and 10 documentaries, including "The Sopranos," "Veep," "Barry," "Silicon Valley" and "Ballers," will be broadcast for free on HBO Go and HBO Now streaming media starting April 3rd local time. Users do not need to pay a subscription fee of $14.99 per month, or even register as members.

However, this free cake is only valid in the United States, and users can also log in to hbonow.com or hbogo.com to view it for free.

According to foreign media reports, the free content this time exceeds 500 hours, but "Game of Thrones" and the currently airing "Westworld" are not included. Perhaps this free strategy has a certain timeliness, after all, HBO Max streaming media is scheduled to be launched in May.
