The fifth season of The Boys is currently being filmed, but its producer revealed that the script is only half completed

The fifth season of the anti-hero American drama "The Boys" is currently being filmed. Its producer Eric Kripke recently revealed in an interview with Forbes that the new series "is not completely finished."

Eric Kripke explained: "Things are always being adjusted. This happened in season one when the 'Me Too' movement broke out mid-season and we had to go back and rethink a lot of things. So, we're used to that natural evolution of the script, it's always changing a little bit based on what's going on in the world. So, it doesn't really scare us, it's normal. You're always rewriting this stuff up until the day before shooting, sometimes even the day of shooting. So, we're used to changing things as the world changes - but yes, we definitely adjust the script as new events come to light."

So there may be some details added to the series that change based on real-life events, but the "main line" of the story of "The Boys" will not change.

So Eric Kripke also added: "In terms of the big picture of the story, it (will) remain the same. I mean, especially in the final season, every character has to reach a climax - it's like we've been setting these back for a while, and this season is mainly about figuring out how to reach the climax, you know? So, it's more like the characters talking about what's going on in society and some of the joke targets we're taking, and some of those things change, but the main skeleton of it remains pretty consistent."
