Sonic the Hedgehog: Return of the Speedster

Today (November 12), Paramount Pictures released a new trailer for the live-action CG film "Sonic the Hedgehog". In this trailer, the classic game character Sonic returns with a new look. It is worth mentioning that Sonic in the trailer also embarked on a racing journey on the Great Wall of China.

Previously, when the first trailer of "Sonic the Hedgehog" was released, many players were dissatisfied because the CG image in the movie was overly anthropomorphic and very different from his image in the game. This time, the movie version of Sonic, which has been "remade", looks more cute and has more coordinated body proportions, and is indeed closer to his classic image in the game.

The live-action CG movie "Sonic the Hedgehog" tells the story of Sonic the Hedgehog, who has supersonic powers, traveling alone to Earth and teaming up with small town police officer Tom (played by "Cyclops" James Marsden) to fight against "Dr. Eggman" played by Jim Carrey. The film is directed by Jeff Fowler and produced by "Fast and Furious" series producer Neil H. Moritz. It will be released in North America on February 14, 2020.
