Hardcore sci-fi! Star-Lord's new film "The Tomorrow War" is scheduled to be released on Christmas next year

Paramount recently announced that the new sci-fi action film "The Tomorrow War", starring "Star-Lord" Chris Pratt, will be released in North America on December 25, 2020, locking in the Christmas schedule next year.

The film was originally named "Ghost Draft" and later changed to "The Tomorrow War". In addition to starring in the film, "Star-Lord" will also serve as the film's producer for the first time. The director is Chris McKay, who directed "The Lego Movie". The script is co-written by Zach Dean ("The Entrapment") and Bill Dubuque ("The Accountant"), and produced by Skydance. Starring Betty Gilpin, Yvonne Strahovski, J.K. Simmons, etc.

The film is set in the future and is about time travel and alien invasion. Humans are at a disadvantage in the war with aliens. In order to reverse the situation, scientists decide to recruit soldiers from the past and join the war. The male protagonist played by "Star-Lord" is recruited into a future war, and this war determines the fate of mankind.

Skydance's previous film works include the "Mission Impossible" and "Star Trek" series, as well as the recently released "Terminator: Dark Fate" and "Gemini Man". There are also two new "Mission Impossible" films and "Top Gun: Maverick" waiting to meet the audience.

After this year's "Avengers 4", "Star-Lord" Chris Pratt will participate in future films such as "Onward" (animated film), "Jurassic World 3", "Guardians of the Galaxy 3", and "Viking Ninja Cowboy".
