Holland's Uncharted movie to start filming in Berlin next February

According to discussingfilm, the film version of Uncharted starring Holland will start filming in Berlin, Germany in February next year! It may also be filmed in Colombia. Holland will play the young Nathan Drake, and Bryan Cranston, the "Old White" in Breaking Bad, will join.

At present, the director of the movie version of "Uncharted" has been confirmed to be Travis Knight, the director of the independent film "Bumblebee", and more cast members of the film will be officially announced at the end of this year.

The movie "Uncharted" is starred by Tom Holland, who will play the young protagonist Nathan Drake, a modern version of Indiana Jones. The plot of the film focuses on the prequel of the game, telling the story of how young Nathan met Victor Sullivan and asked him for the "true scriptures".

The road to the film version of Uncharted was very tortuous. As early as 2008, Sony began preparing for this film. Not only did the director change constantly, but the leading actor also changed many times, including Mark Wahlberg and other male stars who had contact with the film. Two years ago, Holland, who was selected by Sony to become the new generation of Spider-Man, officially joined the film, and finally locked in the actor who played the leading role. After Holland joined the film, Sony decided to tell the plot from the prequel story, hoping to make this series into a new era of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Sony has currently scheduled the release date for Uncharted to be December 18, 2020 in North America.
