May 4th is Star Wars Day. On this day, Disney released the official trailer for the new Star Wars series Star Wars: Waitress, which will be exclusively available on Disney+ on June 5th, with two episodes available at a time. Starring Lee Jung-jae and others, Star Wars: Waitress tells the story of the heyday of the Republic. Jedi fights Sith, the power and conspiracy of the dark side emerge, and "no one can escape the truth." Trailer: The series is a suspense thriller, described as "taking viewers into the secrets and emerging dark forces of the shadows of the galaxy during the High Republic era" (the "Acolyte" in the title refers to the level of Sith Lord's Force-sensitive apprentice in the Star Wars universe), telling the story of "the investigation of a series of criminal activities, forcing a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) to face a dangerous warrior from his past (Steinberg). As clues surface, they embark on a dark path, and the evil forces show that nothing is what it seems." Stills from the series: Video Screen: |
