Christopher Nolan's new film "Tenet" is currently being filmed in Estonia. The film's on-set photos were recently exposed for the first time. The leading actors Robert Pattinson and John David Washington both appeared in their costumes in the film. According to Estonian news reports, the total budget for Nolan's "Tenet" exceeded 200 million euros, which is equivalent to 227 million US dollars. This is the second most expensive film directed by Nolan, second only to "The Dark Knight Rises" with a budget of 250 million US dollars. Nolan's previous film "Dunkirk" only cost 100 million US dollars. "Tenet" has been shooting for more than a month and still maintains the usual mystery of Nolan's works. It is expected that not many details will be revealed until the film is released. It is reported that it will be a "huge, novel, action-packed commercial blockbuster". Judging from the budget amount, "Tenet" is definitely a blockbuster. In addition to Robert Pattinson and John David Washington, the film's main actors also include Elizabeth Debicki (Widows, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2), Bollywood actress Dimple Kapadia, Marvel Universe's "Quicksilver" Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), French actress Clémence Poésy (Genius, 127 Hours, The Last Airbender), and Nolan's old partner Michael Caine (The Dark Knight) and Kenneth Branagh (Dunkirk). The film is scheduled to be released on July 17, 2020. |
