The Korean horror film "Girls' High School Ghost Story" announced that it has started filming

The classic Korean horror film series "Girls' High School Ghost Story" has been announced to be rebooted. The production company CINE2000 announced today that the film, titled "Girls' High School Ghost Story Reboot: Alma Mater", has completed the casting and has recently started filming.

"Alma Mater" will tell the story of Eun-hee (Kim Seo-hyung), who lost her memory in high school and returns to her alma mater as an adult to work as a school supervisor and retrieves her terrible past and secrets.

Kim Seo Hyung recently made a splash in JTBC's hit drama "Sky Castle." It's worth mentioning that she also played a role in "Girls' High School Ghost Story 4: Voice" released in 2005.

In addition, Kim Hyun-soo, the actress from "Now Going to See You" and "Goodbye Single", and Choi Ri, the actress from "That's My World", will play the roles of high school girls in the film, and Kwon Hae-hyo will play the role of a school security guard.

The first film of the horror film series "Girls' High School Horror" was released in 1998, and four sequels were released: "Girls' High School Horror 2: Exchange Diaries" (1999), "Girls' High School Horror 3: Fox Stairs" (2003), "Girls' High School Horror 4: Voices" (2005), and "Girls' High School Horror 5: Suicide Companion" (2009). Korean actresses such as Kim Gyu-ri, Choi Kang-hee, Kong Hyo-jin, Song Ji-hyo, Park Han-byul, Kim Ok-bin, Cha Ye-ryeon, and Seo Ji-hye all came into the public eye through this series.
