Sony Pictures is reportedly developing a new Men in Black movie

According to Twitter user DanielPRK, Sony Pictures is developing a new "Men in Black" movie, which will be the fifth film in the series.

"Men in Black" (also translated as "Men in Black" and "MIB") is an American science fiction action comedy film released in 1997. It was adapted from the comic book of the same name by Lowell Cunningham and is the first work in the "Men in Black" series.

Men in Black premiered at the Hollywood Dome on June 25, 1997, and was released in the United States on July 2. The film received positive reviews for its script, action scenes, and the performances and chemistry of Jones and Smith. The film grossed over $589.4 million worldwide, becoming the third highest-grossing film of 1997 and the ninth highest-grossing film of the decade. It won the 70th Academy Award for Best Makeup, as well as nominations for Best Art Direction and Best Original Score, and numerous other awards.

"Men in Black 2" was released in 2002, "Men in Black 3" was released in 2012, and an independent spin-off "Men in Black: International" was released in 2019, but Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith did not star in it. Instead, it was co-starred by "Thor" Chris Hemsworth, "Valkyrie" Tessa Thompson and Liam Neeson.
