Fallout live-action series draws 65 million viewers in first two weeks

Amazon Prime's live-action Fallout series has attracted 65 million viewers in just 16 days, Variety reports. The series is currently the second-most-watched show in the history of Amazon's streaming platform. It beat out 2023's The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings for the title of the most-watched TV series.

According to the platform's statistics, the audience for the live-action adaptation of the Fallout game is mainly composed of people aged 18 to 34. At the same time, the United Kingdom, France and Brazil are the countries/regions with the highest ratings for the series.

After the series was released, the original game series it was adapted from also gained popularity. As of April 13, the daily revenue of the derivative mobile game "Fallout Shelter" increased from US$20,000 to US$80,000. In Europe, the sales of "Fallout 4" increased by 7,500% month-on-month.

On April 18, the live-action series "Fallout" was officially confirmed to be renewed for a second season.
