Sony is planning a Spider-Man movie to add to the Spider-Man universe

After Sony and Marvel broke up, it is still unknown what the future of Spider-Man will be. For Sony, the most important thing is to quickly build its own Spider-Man universe with Spider-Man as the center while the limelight is high. According to Collider's exclusive news, they have already started planning a movie of "Spider-Mrs."

The next Sony Cinematic Universe film, Morbius, has been confirmed to be released on July 31, 2020, and the script work has apparently been completed. According to Collider, Sony has commissioned Morbius screenwriters Matt Sazama and Bruk Sharpless to create a Spider-Man movie script based on the Spider-Man universe.

Mrs. Spider does not refer to Spider-Man, nor is she Spider-Man's spouse. In the original Marvel comics, her original name was Cassandra Webb. She suffers from degenerative musculoskeletal disease and can only survive on a high-tech life support system, which looks like a spider web behind her; coupled with her superb foresight and future vision, she is named "Mrs. Spider." She knows Spider-Man's secrets and usually helps Spider-Man and his allies fight as a revelation behind the scenes.

There is currently no news about when "Mrs. Spider" will be released. Perhaps we will get the official Easter egg revelations after "Morbius the Vampire" is released next year.
