The first bloody stills of the American version of "The Grudge" are released. The police investigate the cursed house

In 2002, Takashi Shimizu directed The Grudge, which became a classic horror film. The sequel The Grudge 2 in 2003, the remake The Grudge 3 in 2004, and The Grudge 2 in 2006 were all directed by Takashi Shimizu. The director of The Grudge 3 in 2009 was changed, and the quality of the film plummeted. It was not even released in theaters, but was directly released on disc.

Since 2011, Americans have been working on the rebooted version of "The Grudge", and on January 3 next year, the long-awaited "The Grudge" will finally be released.

Entertainment Weekly released the first batch of stills, Tara Westwood's ferocious face looks like she scared Lin Shaye, and Demian Bichir also looked sad. Andrea Riseborough, who starred in "Mandy", plays a police officer who leads a cursed house during her investigation. Her role will be the center of the film's plot.

The film was directed by Nicholas Pesce and co-starred Betty Gilpin, John Cho and Jacki Weaver.
