Disaster thriller "Crocodile Storm" is scheduled to be released in China, with a human-crocodile battle in the water

The disaster thriller "Crocodile Storm", directed by Alexander Aja, the director of "Ghost Mirror" and "Piranha 3D", is scheduled to be released in China on September 20.

The film tells the story of a super hurricane in Florida, USA. A father and daughter are trapped in a basement in the flood and fight against the alligators that are chasing them. Kaya Scodelario plays the heroine Haley, a swimmer who has failed before. Other starring actors include Barry Pepper and Ross Anderson.

The triple extreme dangers of a hurricane and a beast-enclosed room will challenge the audience's horror limit. Before the flood submerges the basement, the heroine breaks through the crocodiles to rescue her father, and the whole process is high-energy and heart-wrenching.

"Crocodile Storm" was released in North America in July. As of now, the film has grossed $74.59 million worldwide, with a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 82% and an MTC media average score of 60 points.
