The game-adapted movie "Mortal Kombat" produced by James Wan is scheduled to be released in North America on March 5, 2021. Recently, Hollywood media "Variety" announced that Chinese actor Ludi Lin is expected to join the film to play the Shaolin monk Liu Kang. "Mortal Kombat" was previously directed by "Resident Evil" director Paul Anderson and released in 1995. It is one of the few game-adapted movies that has been recognized by game fans and achieved box office success, with the film's global box office reaching $122 million.
