Netflix's The Witcher Season 5 will be the final season: Season 4 has already started filming

The streaming platform Netflix recently announced that it has officially renewed the live-action series adapted from "The Witcher" novels for Season 5. It also announced that this season will be the final season and will be filmed consecutively with Season 4.

Showrunner Lauren Hissrich said: “We’re incredibly proud to begin filming the penultimate season of The Witcher with a fantastic cast, including some exciting newcomers, led by Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia.”

“We’re thrilled to be bringing Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel to an epic and satisfying conclusion, and our story is sure to push our cast of characters to their limits – stay tuned to see how the story plays out.”

Netflix's The Witcher Season 4 and 5 will cover the novels Baptism of Fire, Tower of Swallow, and Lady of the Lake. These are the last 3 novels in the original series.
