According to foreign media The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel's first Chinese superhero movie "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" has been confirmed to be filmed in Australia! The film has been in pre-production in New South Wales since March. It is also confirmed that after the filming of this film is completed, "Thor 4" will be produced immediately! For this purpose, the Australian and New South Wales governments have provided $16.7 million in subsidies.

Marvel Studios expects to invest more than $178 million into the NSW economy, create 2,500 jobs and use the services of approximately 1,650 local businesses. Marvel Studios will also work with students from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS), the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and film schools to offer internship programs, internships and training in targeted skill shortages.

"Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" is scheduled to be released in North America on February 12, 2021, the first day of the Lunar New Year. Canadian-Chinese Simu Liu will play the protagonist "Shang-Chi", Tony Leung will play "Mandarin", and "Crazy Rich Asians" heroine Awkwafina will join.
