At the ongoing GDCC conference, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the screenwriters of "Avengers 3" and "Avengers 4", were interviewed. When talking about "Avengers 4: Endgame", they said that the first draft of the film's script was much darker than the version that was later released. According to the two screenwriters, they once designed such a plot for "Avengers 4: Endgame": Thanos came to 2023 with Captain America's head. After learning that the Avengers had "time-space hijacking" and sent Nebula to repair the machine, this version of Thanos did not go to 2023 immediately, but first destroyed the earth and killed all the Avengers at that time, treating this matter as a pre-practice work. In addition, some other information about the first draft of the script revealed by the two screenwriters is as follows: 1. The "smart" Hulk was originally going to appear in "Avengers 3"; 2. The reason why a person was not killed by a finger snap was entirely due to his good luck (50% probability), and had nothing to do with the quantum field; 3. When Thor obtains the Thunderbolt in Avengers 3, he was supposed to challenge the Midgard Serpent. 4. In the original setting, Doctor Strange would send Thanos’ soul to the Living Tribunal, and then have it reviewed by the Living Tribunal, but in the end he was afraid that the audience would find it difficult to understand, so he did not adopt this idea. In addition, the screenwriter confirmed that Gamora in 2014 did not turn into ashes, but just escaped, and the story will continue in "Guardians of the Galaxy 3". |
