The annual San Diego Comic-Con SDCC has always been a good choice for breaking news about animation, games, and movies. Today (18), foreign media Prodweek brought us information about the new "Batman" independent film starring "Twilight" heartthrob Robert Pattinson. It is understood that the film has welcomed many heavyweights to join in the first half of this year. The most famous one is obviously Robert Richardson, the winner of the Oscar for Best Cinematography. This legendary figure has numerous award-winning works, including "Kill Bill", "The Hateful Eight", "Hugo", "JFK" and so on. With his personal hands, the performance of the lens of this new "Batman" is worth looking forward to. Also confirmed to join are assistant directors David Webber (Joker, Life by Night) and Toby Heifman (Wonder Woman 1984, Fury). At present, the independent film "Batman" has been confirmed to be made into a series, and the first one will be released in North America on June 25, 2021. Director Matt Reeves hopes to make this "Batman" a crime story-driven black film, highlighting Bruce Wayne's detective skills rather than the previous action hero setting. In addition to Catwoman, villains such as Penguin, Riddler, and Two-Face are also expected to appear in the film. |
