Director Wen: "The Trench" is more like a monster horror movie than a superhero movie

"Aquaman" director James Wan recently revealed the production progress of "Trench Tribe" to the Hollywood media. He said: "We are still in the stage of writing the script and polishing the story at the moment, so I don't want to reveal too many details. I definitely hope that this one will lean towards horror movies, so it will be more like a monster horror movie rather than a superhero movie. But it is still part of the world of Aquaman."

The movie "Aquaman" presents the audience with the terrifying and bizarre world of the Trench Tribe in advance, where a group of deep-sea creatures with terrible appearances live. They have degenerated into the Atlantis tribe of low-level deep-sea beasts. The movie "Trench Tribe" will focus on this extremely dangerous deep-sea underground world.

It is reported that the film will be a low-budget work, and Aquaman and Aquaman will not appear in this spin-off film.
