The sequel to the live-action movie "Five Nights at Freddy's", adapted from the popular game, has officially started filming, and a behind-the-scenes photo shared by the production company Blumhouse has sparked speculation among many players that a character beloved by fans of the series will soon join the sequel. In the movie, the horror mechanical puppets featured in the game were all made by Jim Henson's Creature Shop. This photo was also taken here. The official tweet reads: "Jim Henson's Creature Shop works their magic again! We're not sure what they're doing, but we know it's going to be great." Players were quick to point out that this was most likely Mangle, the main villain in the ongoing game Five Nights at Freddy's 2. In the game, Mangle is a redesign of Foxy the fox, as the creators of these mechanical puppets felt that Foxy's original design was a bit too scary. Mangle is a "child-friendly" Foxy that is placed in the children's playground, but is often destroyed by children, resulting in its internal metal skeleton being exposed in the game. The second film will likely be based on the second game. The low-budget first film grossed $297.2 million in theaters and was also a hit on streaming platforms. |
