China's total box office in 2021 exceeded 10 billion, and Jia Ling became the highest-grossing female director in film history

According to media reports, real-time data from Lighthouse showed that as of 9:30 a.m. on February 16, the total box office (including pre-sales) of the Chinese film market in 2021 exceeded 10 billion yuan, the total number of moviegoers reached 229 million, and the total number of screenings was 16.3874 million.

Among them, the most outstanding performance was "Hello, Li Huanying", with a total box office of over 1.5 billion yuan, and the film's director Jia Ling also broke Rene Liu's "Us and Them" record of 1.36 billion yuan, becoming the highest-grossing female director in Chinese film history.
